In 2008, inspired by a life-altering trip to Rwanda, Athens, GA native
and Auburn University alumna Brin Greene felt called to shift her focus and compassion into
delivering hope to children in war torn Rwanda.
She created the Small Voices Foundation, a 501C3 non-profit, on the premise
that even one small voice can bring great change. Through Small Voices, Brin
hopes that every child in the world, with voices big and small, will be offered
an education, hope, healthcare, and opportunities to succeed.
OUR MISSION
The Small Voices Foundation was founded to provide basic necessities, in the form of nutrition, clothing, education, and medical supplies, to orphans of the Rwandan genocide and other children suffering in Africa
OUR VISION
The Small Voices Foundation, Inc. has committed to raising $30,000 starting in 2008 for Rebero Orphan Center and other similar orphan projects in Kigali, Rwanda. Ever dollar raised will be put towards ensuring that each of these children finish school (education is not free in Rwanda), and receive their HIV/Aids medication, obtain proper nutrition and help these orphan centers build homes, schools and libraries.
Founder Brin Greene commits that 100% of the $30,000 goal will be donated to these orphan projects as she and the Small Voices Foundation Board Members are personally covering all the overhead associated with the cause and are overseeing the distribution of the funds.
